ASPARAGUS:
This market is softer with all suppliers. The availability will be good throughout the week. Jumbo sizing will be light however and likely subbed into extra large. Mexico, California and Peru are the main growing regions for this commodity. Loading out of Florida for Peruvian product is an option to minimize the cost California freight.
CROP OUTLOOK:
As we move through Spring and approach Summer harvests weather patterns in the various growing regions across the country continue to be problematic.
